Summary:
APELC’s EMP suitcase High-power RF source transmits a wideband RF pulse with an electric-field amplitude over 100 kV/m @ 1m. The suitcase is typically used to study electronic attack effects and electronic equipment vulnerabilities, and may also be used for MIL-STD 464-testing.

The Suitcase is operated using a handheld fiber-optic remote control which allows the user to select single-shot or automatic mode of operation. In automatic mode, the user may select a pulse repetition frequency between 0.1 and 10 Hz. The on-board battery can be charged from standard mains voltage worldwide (100-250 VAC, 47-63 Hz). The on-board battery permits operation for up to 10 hours on a single charge.
