Technology Summary |
The APELC MG15-3C-2700PF is a fully integrated, high power, moderate energy Marx generator system. The system is based on APELC's 100 J, 600 kV Marx generator, and integrates APELC's high voltage rapid capacitor charger (PS-RCC-8-10), which has been additionally configured to provide trigger and control functions. At maximum performance, the system delivers 4 GW of peak power and 10 kW of average power, with a maximum repetition rate of 100 Hz. |
Charge and trigger command is provided in a fiber-optic hand-held remote control. All that is needed at the end user facility is a 200 PSI air source and an AC wall outlet |
